The model strolls confidently down the catwalk, turns half circle and stops, posing with her arms elegantly on her hips. First silence, then a barrage of flashes and applause.

The big international fashion show is a highpoint of every World Robes competition. Renowned choreographs work out a show, professional models present the outfits which have been designed and a jury of specialists from the world of fashion and culture awards the models. For the up-and-coming designers this is a wonderful opportunity to present their designs to a large audience and a whole battery of cameras and the assembled press. And it is naturally an exciting affair: which model will win? Who will be the darling of the public?

Over 1,000 guests are expected to attend the the 3rd International Fashion Show on 27th March 2009 in the "Palais am Funkturm". Berlin's biggest ballroom with its charming 1950s look provides a fitting venue for the colourful World Robes fashion show.

Following the final event of the competition World Robes will continue its journey - through the whole of Germany. After all, the innovative outfits are in big demand for various occasions: fashion shows, exhibitions, rounds of debate. You will find the latest dates in our events calendar.
